Some old media companies still fear the Internet. Web publishing represents a threat to the old way of doing things. It could cannibalize their dead-tree products. International Data Group is not one of those companies. Probably because most of its publications are techie in nature, like ComputerWorld and PC World, IDG has embraced the Internet - and is glad it has.
