IDG Ventures to invest $550 million in India ; IDG Ventures, private equity arm of the Boston-based International Data Group

IDG Ventures, private equity arm of the Boston-based International Data Group Inc, is bullish on the domestic technology sector. The company would invest around $550 million in the country through two India-specific funds over five-seven years, said its top executives.
