China PC shipments up 21 pct in third qtr - IDC

China's PC market grew 21 percent in the third quarter, as industry leaders Lenovo Group Ltd., Founder Group and Dell Inc. all boosted their share at the expense of smaller players. PC makers shipped 5.2 million units in China in the third quarter of 2005, compared with 4.3 million in the third quarter of last year, according to numbers given to Reuters on Wednesday by data tracking firm IDC.
