IDG founder to TIE: Get to know your employees

Leigh Buchanan, senior editor of the Harvard Business Review recently wrote about her ex-boss, Pat McGovern, "He wants employees to know that he sees them - really sees them-as individuals, and that he considers what they do all day to be meaningful." At a recent monthly meeting of the Boston chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs, McGovern emphasized the importance of getting to know employees, one person at a time, in the corporate world.
