Jeremy Kirk

Jeremy Kirk has been a journalist since 1996, mostly based outside of the U.S. In the past he has covered general assignment news for a Midwestern newspaper in the U.S., military affairs in South Korea and information technology in London with IDG News Service.

Kirk is now based in Sydney with the News Service. He specializes in computer security, privacy and enterprise software and is an all-around general assignment reporter and part-time editor. He covers technology conferences in Asia-Pacific, in addition to breaking news and features.

Kirk is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in journalism and political science.
